Social Value Advisor - Construction / Building – Northamptonshire / East Midlands

My client is one of the UK's most successful building & civils main contractors operating across a range of project sectors including Education, Commercial, Industrial, PRS, Student Accommodation, Hotels, Highways and Rail.
ROLE:
Reporting to the CSR Manager, the role will support the needs of the CSR and Social Value team and perform a variety of functions in a fast-paced environment.
With a passion for collaborative working, the successful candidate will develop, implement and report on performance of CSR and Social Value programmes and associated activities, maintaining excellent working relationships across a range of projects.

DUTIES:
- Coordinating client and project led CSR and SV reporting requirements.
- Monitoring activity and initiatives across all projects to report on business wide impact.
- Liaising with other departments to improve collection, input and reporting of CSR / SV data.
- Ensuring appropriate evidence and GDPR consents are captured to support reporting to third parties and maintain accurate and up to date records.
- Assisting with development of CSR / SV measurement and reporting system.
- Collating and compiling performance data from projects and presenting it in reports, case studies, PQQs/tenders, presentations/interviews.
- Capturing best practice and producing case studies to share information and improve performance.
- Coordinating project CSR / SV activities including volunteering, community and educational engagement activities, working with the HR & Training team where required.
- Providing guidance / support to sites on aspects of CCS linked to CSR / SV to improve scores.
- Working with marketing team to promote sustainability and social value activities online / social media / Yammer.
- Working with the Sustainability Working Group on initiatives to further develop our CSR / SV strategies.
- Acting as a CSR / Social Value champion within the business.
- Providing brand support for CSR / SV capability materials, presentations, documents etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this Social Value Coordinator role you must meet the following criteria:
- Previous employment as a Social Value Manager, Social Value Coordinator, Social Value Officer or Social Value Champion, Responsible Business Coordinator / Manager or similar to be considered.
- Ideally Previous Main Contractor employment but not essential.
- High level of communication skills.
-Experience in a social value or CSR role within construction, civil engineering or training/skills background.
-Strong analytical and data interpretation and management skills.
-Strong literacy skills and excellent attention to detail.
-Excellent communication, networking and relationship management skills.
-Ability to engage well with others and influence a range of key stakeholders.
-Confidence in meeting and working with a diverse range of people from a variety of backgrounds.
