COMPANY:
We are recruiting for a Senior Design Manager / Head of Design Management to join a reputable building contractor and lead the regional design management team / function, working on Multi-million pound projects.
Open to consider an already experienced Design management team leader or a Senior Design Manager.
Role:
Initially managing a close knit team of 4 Design Managers, the role will include team management duties as well as hands on preconstruction and live works design management on your own projects.
Time will be split between remote working, visiting sites across Yorkshire (Initial projects likely West Yorkshire & North Yorkshire) and also visiting company office in South Yorkshire.
Ideal opportunity for long term local projects in Yorkshire region.
Stable and growing business working on a variety of public and private sector projects, including long term public sector frameworks.
Requirements:
To be considered for this Design Manager role you must meet the following criteria:
- Knowledge of Building Sector.
- Previous employment as a Design Co-ordinator, D&B Coordinator, D&B Manager or Design Manager.
- Previous Main Contractor employment.
- High level of communication skills.
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).

The successful Regional Design Manager will receive:
