Building Manuals Coordinator / O&M Coordinator - Building - Construction - Northampton
Opportunity to join a leading UK Building Main Contractor.
(Document Controllers / Administrators or Similar with some building manuals experience will also be considered)
Requirements:
To be considered for this Building Manuals Coordinator role you must meet the following criteria:
- Previous employment as a O&M Coordinator or Building Manuals Coordinator or Document Controller or Administrator.
-Previous experience with building manuals.
- Previous experience working for a Building or Civil Engineering Sector company (main contractor, subcontractor or consultancy considered)
- High level of communication skills.
-Looking for an assertive, self-motivated individual with strong administration skills.
-Proficient in MS Office Packages
-To possess excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to work independently and work well with others within a team.
Role:
Reporting to the Building Manuals Manager and working alongside the project team, collating information from the Sub-contractors for the Operational and Maintenance Manuals for final handover upon practical completion. Working across the Industrial, PRS, Student Accommodation, Hotels and Civils & Infrastructure projects sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties will involve but not be limited to:
• Create accurate project trackers and compile and export databases for each project.
• Converting word documents into PDF format, to be bookmarked and combined
• Keeping project files organised with information and keeping trackers up to date.
• Liaising with sub-contractors and site teams to collate information
• Receive phone calls and respond to emails from clients and sub-contractors
• Prioritise workload to guarantee deadlines are met and be able to self-manage time and ensure daily activities are met.
• Attend site visits to meet site teams and hold meetings with the project managers and clients regarding O&M manuals and handover
• Arranging videographers to attend site to record training & demonstration videos
• Ability to work independently and work well with others within a team
