ROLE:
As BREEAM Assessor your role will include:
- Lead on day-to-day delivery of BREEAM assessments from pre-assessment to post construction stage
- Chair meetings with design and site teams, advising how to maximise BREEAM credits
- Ensure information required for the assessments is collected and reviewed
- Prepare reports for submission to Building Research Establishment (BRE)
- Provide regular updates to project team members and pursuing information
- Respond to the BRE on quality audit reports
- Produce and keep up to date the regular tracking schedule
- Monitor workload against deliverables and report to line manager
- Utilise a high level of oral and written communication (particularly developing report writing skills) to ensure clarity of communication both internally and externally.
- Maintain good existing relationships with project stakeholders.
- Take accountability for obtaining technical and operational information relating to the projects.
- Keep project documentation up-to-date and comply with file management protocols
COMPANY:
My client is a leading privately owned building contractor, with a busy and fast growing workload.
As a result of securing further new projects, this employer is looking to strengthen their team further with the appointment of several BREEAM Assessors to join their In-house BREEAM team, working predominately on Industrial / Logistics & Distribution building projects.
LOCATION:
Remote working + National site visits
(Flexible to travel nationwide and a driving licence is essential).
REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this BREEAM Assessor role you must meet the following criteria:
- Previous employment as a BREEAM Assessor / Sustainability Engineer / Consultant
- Previous experience / knowledge of construction / building projects
- Previous main contractor employment or consultancy employment.
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).
-Accreditations/Qualified and experienced BREEAM Assessor and/or BREEAM AP
-Knowledge of building performance and LCA tools
-Knowledge of thermal modelling and building physics studies including daylight studies, thermal comfort, and overheating studies
-Track record in client relationship management and project management in a consulting environment
