Tilbury Douglas are conducting a major recruitment campaign of white collar roles for this long term framework, see more insight below about their projects and Thames Water jobs.
This presents an ideal opportunity for candidates to secure long term local work on interesting Non-infrastructure water projects (Water Treatment Plants, Pumping Stations, Asset improvements etc), seeking candidates ideally with previous water sector experience but also the opportunity for candidates to transfer experience over from other civil engineering sectors such as highways and progress their Thames Water career.

Our client Tilbury Douglas is delighted to be working in partnership with Thames Water to deliver fantastic infrastructure, brilliantly and to make things better for current and future generations.
They are proud to be the primary non-infrastructure design and construct partner in the Thames Valley area delivering asset improvements that will further improve the environment and the quality of drinking water during the AMP7 regulatory period.
Tilbury Douglas’ patch is mainly in the NW quadrant of the Thames Valley region to the north of the M4 from Reading to Chippenham - They are already working on the designs for multiple projects around Oxford and in the Cotswolds.
The projects they are delivering include civil engineering and mechanical and electrical works and vary in value from £3m to £25m.
They expect their annual framework turnover to be circa £45m from 2022 onwards.
They have committed to working collaboratively with Thames Water, their valued strategic suppliers, and other stakeholders to embed MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) and off-site manufacture to realise leading safety, health and wellbeing, quality, customer service, sustainability and efficiency performance improvements.
